The Compositional Conception And Characteristics Of The Orchestral Work With The Autumn Wind

The thesis analysis the graduation work of my Master Degree, with the autumn wind. which involved in Chinese traditional folk music, Acoustic space, modern composing techniques, collision and blend of eastern and western music expression. To parse and transform Chinese traditional music in the perspective of a composer thinking and applying in the composition of this work. In the process of analysis and rearrangement of composition thought and technology, to a great extent, this paper discusses the thinking correlation of this works influenced by Chinese ancient music aesthetics and Chinese traditional folk music and focus on the exploration in applying Chinese folk music elements and the innovative organization of the symphonic sound. The purpose of this paper is to analysis the orchestra work with the autumn wind clearly, detailedly in depth.The contents attempts to discuss the natural theory of music, one of the Chinese ancient music aesthetics in many layers and the relation between this and part of contemporary music further concerning the combination between Chinese traditional folk music and modern music composition through the accumulation in using folk music elements recent years to dialysis their application in my composition. I hope that this essay can irritate other composers to concern about Chinese traditional music in order to present and explore the possibility that Chinese traditional music incorporate with various forms and techniques of music.
