On The Cultural Value Of Liaoning Drum Music

Liaoning Drum Music is one of the most active folk music in China nowadays and an important part of Chinese traditional musical culture.The combination of Liaoning Drum Music and customs gradually forms an item of folk culture that is closely linked with people’s life.Liaoning Drum Music is not only of the time,but also of the history.Its rich content reveals the changes of social environment and cultural background and the inheritance of tradition in different ages.Taking it as a symbol mark,this thesis puts Liaoning Drum Music into the context of musical form,main living space and “intangible cultural heritage” and studies the cultural value of Liaoning Drum Music from the shallower to the deeper through superficial musical phenomena.Firstly,it is the study of the music cultural value of Liaoning drum music.The preservation and continuation of Liaoning drum music from the aspects of music cards,Gongche score and tone-changing methods are highlighted,and the fusion of national music is embodied in the form of today’s music.Secondly,starting from the main living space of Liaoning drum music today,this paper explores the functions of Liaoning drum music in ritual ceremony,analyses its significance to Chinese ritual and music culture,and expounds the ritual and cultural value of Liaoning drum music.Finally,the historical and cultural value of Liaoning drum music is studied.Based on the role of Liaoning drum music intangible cultural heritage,this paper expounds the characteristics of Liaoning drum music intangible cultural heritage,and the reflection of drum music on social,political and economic.On this basis,how to protect the intangible cultural heritage of music is considered.Nowadays,Liaoning drum music is more and more inclined to "non-mainstream music",and its performance occasions are also shifting to suburbs and towns.Despite the impact of Western and modern music elements,its living space gradually decreases,but compared with the silence of other kinds of traditional music,Liaoning drum music is still fresh.Although the development of drum music in Liaoning Province is facing various problems,its application in ritual and ritual rituals is one of the reasons for its continued survival,as well as the inheritance of traditional Chinese culture.
