Since the ancient time till the current time plants have been very closed relationship with Humanbeing.Because the plants make the large numbres of proportions in the nature were we are living.plants not only can provide us with substances but also can create for us beautiful living condition,so plants become one important parts of our life and have been effected our languages and cultures.Thus set up a lurge numbers of plant wards in every languages.,because of the difference of nataral conditions,geographic conditions and the way of thinking between different nations they showes different cognition for same plants thus through these plant wards we can get the clues of thinking methods,values,customs and appreciation of the beauty of each nation.Both in the Chinese and Uyghur language also contains large numbers of plant words and can be find all the parts of their life. These plant words not only express the original meaning but also can be imply the cultural meaning. This thesis through the linguistic research for the plant metaphors and culture will find the cultural difference of the plant words in Chinese and Uyghurs. This thesis divided into four chapters. The research goals and objects and the brief introduction and the research significance were given in the first chapter.. In the second chapter it was discussed for the structure and specialties of plant metaphors in both Chinese and Uyghurs. In the third chapter it was taken for the research of cultural meaning of plant wards in both Chinese and Uyghur. In the last chapter the researcher stated the mainly cause of similarities and differences in both Chinese and Uyghurs.
