A Semantic Study On The Structures Of The Compound Words Composed Of A Mongolian Word "nidu(eye)"

Guided by the cognitive linguistic theories and sememe analysis, the present thesis concentrates on the semantic analysis of Compound Nouns and Compound Verbs structures composed of a Mongolian word "nidu(eye)".The paper consists of six parts: Introduction, Chapter I, Chapter II, Conclusion, References and Appendix.The introduction part probes into the definition and concepts of the compound words composed of a Mongolian word "nidu(eye)", the basis of the topic selection for further research, literature review, material sources, research methods and research aim.In Chapter I, 34 Compound Nouns composed of the word "nidu(eye)" are chosen by the researcher to make a semantic analysis to their structures applying the cognitive linguistic theories and sememe analysis.In Chapter II, 77 compound verbs composed of the word "nidu(eye)" are chosen and are studied from the perspective of semantics under the guidance of typological semantics. Then semantics analysis to their structures is done applying the cognitive linguistic theories and sememe analysis.
