Dong Qichang’s landscape paintings in a gentle tone write gentle and elegant atmosphere, showing a state of extreme quiet, the Confucian spirit.His pen and ink with the law, under the tutelage of Dong and Ju ’s followers, His composition and simple image construction is simple, the layout of the atmosphere, the ink performance soft calligraphy pen with light and creating artistic conception of natural naive, coupled with the characteristics of fresh and elegant colors, his landscape painting exudes a scholar breath the thick, elegant natural formation of the "light" the beauty.In this paper, taking "artistic style of plain and naive" as the guide, aims to analyze the characteristics of landscape painting in the painting Dong Qichang "flat and innocent", and then analyzes the causes of its characteristics, finally explain the influence of the style characteristics of future generations.The thesis is divided into four parts, the first chapter discusses the cultural origin of "flat and innocent", as well as manifestations in different in traditional art. Calligraphy, music, poetry and painting art since ancient times has the aesthetic tendency of "plain", this is the communication between all kinds of culture and art, in the landscape painting is also reflected in the "light" the southern branch. The second chapter from the Dong Qichang landscape painting in the "layout", "text" and "color" of the three aspects of the painting form and style characteristics. The third chapter starts from Dong Qichang’s life and art culture, with Confucianism, Buddhism, Taoism three in literati thought at the time of the origin of the "plain", analysis of the mind and reflect. All in all, the external factors resulting in division of ancient and under the tutelage of Dong Qichang "is to the south of the case", "to light as the case", forming the "landscape painting style characteristics of flat and innocent". The fourth chapter analyzes Dong Qichang’s "flat and innocent" landscape painting style on later generations. Two aspects discussed respectively from the impact on the effect of the later Ming Dynasty and the Qing Dynasty, the Songjiang school and the "Four Wangs", "four monks" are directly affected by it and become a style of painting to inherit and carry forward the people.
