Study On The Folk Characters In Yunnan Contract In The Era Of Qing, Min

Based on the book of collecting contract documents in Yunnan Museum, this thesis make a thorough collation and research on the folk characters of contract documents in era of Qing and Min from the perspective of common studies on folk characters. It is divided into five chapters. Chapter 1 introduces the present research results, significance, method and corpora of this research. Chapter 2 defines characters of folk forms, outlines the usage condition and characteristics of folk characters in Yunnan’s contract documents. Chapter 3 arranges and summarizes the folk characters’ generative mechanism and regularity, including strokes and part cut,strokes and part addition, part replacement and part displacement. Chapter 4 explains the characters of folk forms, focusing on the word’s polymorphic phenomeno,discusses each folk character’s generated reason to explore its evolution path. Chapter5 discusses the value of the folk characters study of this research material for compiling dictionary. Conclusion part briefly summarizes the thesis’ s basic point of view and points out innovation and insufficient. The appendix is a characters of folk forms glossary of Yunnan’s contract documents.
