Teaching Chinese as a foreign language is to cultivate students’ cross-cultural communicative competence as the ultimate goal. An expression of the ability of cross-cultural communication, is able to skillfully using Chinese oral communication, all the teaching contents and methods are a target for this service. The teaching content and the goal directly related is oral English teaching. Speaking of course to the session as the main form, in Chinese conversation, there is a class of words in the language that is used exclusively for response, response word we said, it is important words and understand conversations for conversational meaning acquisition. Through the investigation on the different versions of the oral Chinese textbooks, there is no specific design according to the response word teaching, people have not fully recognized the significance and status response word in teaching Chinese as a foreign language. Therefore, this article through to the investigation and analysis of the actual acquisition response word students, understanding students acquisition of response word in Chinese conversation, summarizing and analyzing the foreign students’ acquisition should reply for the problems and their causes, in order to find out the corresponding teaching strategies, in order to better guide the teaching, so as to achieve better teaching effect.
