Musical emerged in late 19 th Century, which is provided with comprehensive new stage art form, intermingle multifarious artistic forms of music, dance, drama ect. It realises the integration and globality of artistic factors, and makes the theatrics reached the omnidirectional stereoscopic. The deep western culture details of european opera, as well as modern western exploration of the integration of the art of opera and Drama provides the important western traditional culture foundation for the birth of the musical, and provides ever fount inspiration and reference for the musical art creation in the respects of dramatic content, performance form, and art language. Especially in the singing, musical borrowed a lot of Bel Canto vocal method and the concept of sound, emphasizes the skills of the breath control, throat open, clear diction, sound resonance, also the singing forms of solo, duet, chorus etc.The analysis of the feathers of musical singing in this paper mainly bisis on the use of Bel Canto in musical. The thesis is devided into three chapters. Firstly, to summarize the research background of the subject and the current situations of this study at home and abroad. Secondly, the Conceptual elaboration of musical and bel canto, as well as the importance and necessary of bel canto in musical. Thirdly, the examples of a large number of demonstrations.For my academic knowledge is shallow and this thesis is only the general research, it’s not yet perfect in many aspects. However, I also hope it may cause the attention of experts to give the criticism and suggestions for this view, and contribute to the development of China vocal singing art.
