On The Application Of Bel Canto In Musicals

This article discusses the application of the Bel Canto in Musical Theatre,which is divided into two parts to discuss and analyze it.The first part is the origin and style of the Musical Theatre,discuss origin and singing style of the Musical Theatre diversity.The second part is the application of Bel Canto in the Musical Theatre,the first one is brief introduction of origin and development of Bel Canto,and then the second one is the application of Bel Canto in the Musical Theatre,with "Think of me” in the "Phantom of the Opera”,“Le temps des cathedrales” in the "Notre Dame de Paris” these two selections of the musicals theatre as an example,make a demonstration analysis on the research,the last one is the art value about Bel Canto apply to the musical theatre.
