William Somerset Maugham is a well-known British writer, in his works,shaped like a group of "rebel", they overturn the traditional ethics, to break the secular behaviour. This paper focuses on three representative novels of "the shackles of human nature", "the moon and sixpence", "blade", based on the overview of the social outcast in the works, analysis of Maugham’s answer to shape possible factors and their to explore and home to return to the path of eccentric and the impact of the problem. Paper is divided into three parts, introduction, text and epilogue, among them, the text includes three chapters.The introduction part about "problem" of Maugham’s objective existence, do an overview of Maugham research status at home and abroad, this paper expatiates the meaning is put forward. Paper first chapter presents Maugham’s overview of the social outcast.
