The Research On Psychological Dimension And Influence Factors Of Brute

The research on brutal psychology is a new topic that proposed to adapt the development of the age. With the transition period of the society, all kinds of contradictions and competitions are increasing ceaseless; the interest pattern is changing deeply, the collision and fusion are occurred among all kinds of ideas and culture. When the progresses of social spiritual culture fall behind its material culture, the irrational factors in the people’s mindsets are emerged gradually, which lead to the frequent appearance of the mentality deterioration, behavior tortuosity and social brute. It is not only a serious violation of the social norms and a disturbance of the social order, but also a disgusting influence for the whole society.Therefore, the research on the influence of abnormal personality under the new social situation, which investigated the main factors influencing the brutal psychology, analyzed the feature of brutal psychology behavior, psychological dimension and structure from the psychology point of view, has important theoretical value; and it has the important practical significance for the prevention and intervention of brutal incidents, increasing the population quality, perfection of personality quality, improving the general mood of society and promoting the social harmony.Purpose:(1) Refine the psychology meaning of “brute”;(2) Investigate the characteristic and dimension of brutal psychology;(3) format the questionnaire of brutal personality, and provide tools for research on brutal psychological behavior;(4) analyze the factors affecting the formation of brutal personality.Method: Using “refine the meaning-- building model-- prepare the questionnaire-- empirical investigation-- influence factor analysis” method, the psychology dimension model of brutal personality is proposed based on literature review, expert interview and the analysis of the archives; the brutal personality questionnaire was developed, which collected 582 effective questionnaires from 660 persons consisted of general population, brutal and non-violent offenders. Theresults is obtained after data processing and analysis.Result:(1) Brutal personality appears multidimensional structure and measured from cognition, emotion and behavior, while cognition factor contains of malicious,hostile, revenge and self-centered, emotion factor contains of irritability, resentment,impulsive and cold, behavior factor contains of physical attack, verbal aggression,and discipline.(2) The brutal personality questionnaire has good validity based on the model of psychological structure, can be used as a measurement of brutal personality.(3) The violent tendencies level of general population, non-violent and violent offenders exist significant differences. The level of from high to low respectively violent offenders, non-violent offenders and the general population.(4) The main factors influencing the brutal psychological are social, family education, school education, media and accompanier factors.
