Developing The Psychological Boundary Questionnaire

Objective To develop a questionnaire this is able to reflect the features of each dimension to the concept of psychological boundary.Methods On the basis of theoretical analysis and interviews, combining some descriptive texts about the research of victims of nightmare,the present study collected items describing the psychological features of weak psychological boundary.By examining these items with college student participants and adapting factor analysis,a psychological boundary questionnaire was compiled and its psychometric indexes were examined.Results The psychological boundary questionnaire consists of five dimensions,with the Cronbach'sαbetween 0.51 and 0.72, and the cumulative explanation of the variance 39.9%.Conclusion The psychological boundary questionnaire has satisfactory psychometric characteristics.It is suitable for practical usage.
