Gei construction, a common structure in Chinese language, is an important linguistic point in teaching Chinese as a foreign language. Quite a lot of ontology researches about Gei construction have achieved, like the research of the part of speech of gei, the meaning of Gei construction and its function of semantic and pragmatics. Based on the research of the previous scholars, this thesis attempts to analyze four highest frequency sentences of Gei construction in the primary stage of Chinese as a foreign language. Then through the comparison of double-objects structure between Chinese and English, this thesis tries to find out their similarities and differences, to get the relevant rules. After that, this thesis has classified the bias errors of Gei construction based on two corpus of overseas students’ compositions, aims to summarize the reason caused the bias errors. At the end of the thesis, from the perspectives of Construction-Chunk theory, to reanalyze the internal semantic configuration, exical chunks of lexical chunks and internal requirements of Gei construction, then the results of this study are applied to Gei construction in the primary stage of Chinese as a foreign language, to design a new teaching scheme about Construction-Chunk of Gei construction which is much easier to operate.
