| Taking the northeastern comedic skits as the object of study and its artistry as logical starting point, this paper takes up research from two levels—artistic phenomenon and cultural phenomenon. The introduction makes an analysis about the current study of northeastern comedic skits and explains research ideas, methodology and research emphasis. The first chapter focuses on discussing the defining issue of comedic skits and northeastern comedic skits and drawing the basic outline of the research object through the study on the change of the name “skitsâ€, the origin of comedy, and the forming process and genre of the contemporary Chinese comedic skits. The second chapter discusses about the artistic phenomenon of northeastern comedic skits. First, it clarifies the linguistic features of northeastern comedic skits, and then it discusses the narrative characteristic of northeastern comedic skits and the characteristic of harlequin performance through the comparative study of northeastern comedic skits and the northeastern song-and-dance duet. The third chapter discusses about the correlation between northeastern comedic skits and northeastern geographical culture, personalities of northeastern people, northeastern society and northeastern literary phenomenon respectively, changing the research direction from northeastern comedic skit itself to the relationship with other factors. In terms of perspective, taking the interpretation of the peculiarity of northeastern comedic skits’ art and culture as fundamental points and discussing the difficulties and limitations of such peculiarity caused by the developing context of northeastern history, this paper presents the contradiction and reason of northeastern comedic skits’ “capacity†and “incapacity†under the transformation of northeastern society. |
