The Communication And Spread Of Henan Opera In Taiwan And Henan

Henan Opera is one of the oledst local operas in China, conceived in Heluo culture, risen from the period of Qianlong of the Qing Dynasty. The history of Henan Opera is nearly three hundred years. Since the founding of the People’s Republic of China, Henan Opera has become one of the most widely distributed local operas. Notably, a branch of Henan Opera was spread to Taiwan by Xiuyun Zhang at the same time. In this paper, we are going to reorganize and summarize the history of exchange and spread of Henan Opera.Furthermore, we explore Henan Opera’s dissemination and exchange to find a clear direction for Henan Opera’s development.Based on the characteristics and the time line of exchange between Henan Opera and Henan Opera in Taiwan this paper will be divided into three chapters: the chapter of origin, the chapter of spread and the chapter of communication and cooperation. In the chapter of origin, the paper dates the origin of dissemination and exchange of Henan Opera back to Heluo culture. Treated three large-scale population movements as a starting point, Heluo culture gradually spread far and wide to Fujian and Taiwan. Henan Opera also conceived in Heluo culture.The upright and honest sprit of Henan Opera are similar to Min Tai Culture’s sprit which makes Henan Opera are easy to be accepted by audiences in Taiwan.In addition, the rise of Bangzi which spreads westward spreads to Fujian and Taiwan, is the sign of dissemination and exchange of Henan Opera. This is the origianal relation between Henan Opera and Taiwan origin and this is the basis of dissemination and exchange of Henan Opera. The chapter describes the development of Feima Opera team and compares it with the Henan Opera at the same period. The result shows that at that time Henan Opera really began the spread and communication. But the spread palyed a major role during that period of time showing one-sided communication. The chapter of communication shows that after reform and opening up, the one-sied communication changes to double-sided communication. The major of communication changes from folk to the official.The unusual communication changes to usual communication. With more and more scholars joining in the communication of Henan Opera, Henan Opera continues to develop in many ways.The history of Henan Opera and Henan Opera in Taiwan is closely related. But they show their different characteristics during their development, especially reflected in the repertory. showing in the development of different characteristics, particularly reflected in the repertory. Chapter four focuses on comparing the tradition, modern and cross-cultural perspectives.Compare two different tendency of development of Henan Opera and show the improtance and need for long and deep research in this area.By reorginize and sumarize the history of spread and communication of Henan Opera, we can find that the intimate, diversity and inspiring among the cooperation between Henan Opera and Henan Opera in Taiwan. This paper highlights the position and importance of cross-strait cultural exchanges. It finds out a dirction for Henan Opera in this new age.
