Workers’ Political Identification During The Early Period Of New China(1949-1965)

The communist party of China is working-class party. The city’s revolutionary activities had to carry out the labor movement in the early years of the new nation,and the working class is the backbone of the urban revolution struggles. Early years of the new nation, how to unite the working class, strive for the support of the working class, rely on working-class development production become to consolidate the new regime, the development of national economy are the center job of the city construction. In this condition,the communist party began to transform workers on a large scale.Factory is a bridge connecting the government and the workers, the government made so much policies about workers’ labor protection and incentive mechanisms, the collective welfare policies, laws and regulations by factory to workers,and so on.Factory took specific policies into practice directly through the production environment of workers, salary welfare, Labour protection,improve the working enthusiasm, ideological and cultural level and political consciousness to increase the sense of workers belonging to the factory and the collective identity, and then through this actions increased the working class political identity of the new regime, established the legitimacy of the new government.Around the founding of the PRC, the change of work environment, material life, political ideological of workers made the workers feel the regime change and bring the huge change.The survival conditions of worker individual change made workers to recognize the value of its existence.From the emotion to consciousness,workers were more inclined to the new regime, began to participate in the political process and supported the legitimacy of the political system and the new government actively.This article summarizes the wage system, the collective welfare, Labour protection, such as the original documents and generalization in around the founding of the PRC to analysis material life and political ideological changes and transformation of the workers under the leadership of the communist party. Through analysis of the changes in factory and the life of workers, we can find the ideological changes and analysis the root of changes.In the other words,we can study more acknowledge in the degree of identity about the government legitimacy.
