An essay named A Philosophical Enquiry into the Origin of our Ideas of the Sublime and Beautiful,which delighted many great philosophers and estheticians such as Immanuel Kant, and succeeded its author’s name, Edmund Burke, presenting among the ones of the significant estheticians of 18 century, blew up the world of Metaphysics throughout Europe. As Burke,however,devoted himself into political affairs soon after that,and any second piece of Aesthetic or Metaphysics would ever come out to the world till his last day. Therefor,although this pamphlet of Aesthetic still has its place in the aesthetic history, it has been regarded as a glint of fireworks and a little point which has been inlaid into the tie of the whole line. From the pamphlet to the investigation into the lifetime and experiences of Edmund Burke, I devoted myself into finding his theological aesthetics,which takes the double metaphors of the Sublime as the base,and let aesthetics education exercise the function of ruling the moral of human society instead of religion, behind the physiology aesthetics.
