Tian Yuan published Selected Poems of Tian Yuan in China, And So The Shore Was Born and The Memory of Stone in Japan, there are 43 poems with the same title that are composed by Tian Yuan in two languages. After forming habits in the way he thinks in his mother country, Tian Yuan studied in Japan and honed his skill taking an objective view at his native language, developed his new worldview, therefore, Tian Yuan’s poems present a peculiarity of combining different worldviews, known as perfect literary art. After making a comparative and constructive analysis, I source poem image difference of those 43 poems having the same title but composed independently. The subjective image in Tian Yuan’s mind could be the same every time he composed same title poems in both languages, however, image difference could occur when referring to objective image across languages. Translation could not reflect original work completely, that is infeasibility of translation, despite all that, I think Tian Yuan’s peculiarity turns the infeasibility into a new possibility of translation, proposing a new and expressive interpretative system.
