The Feedforward Interview(FFI) is an interview protocol which is on the basis of Appreciative Inquiry(AI).FFI is designed to reveal new organizational knowledge, which can lead to better allignment between individual’s needs and organizational practices, Due to the use of exploring nature, FFI focused on individual’s positive side, help interviews who are willing to think back the past success stories scene again, feeling episodic memory details of peak experience, encourage, help individuals summarize their strengths and weaknesses, admire their advantages, explore the positive behavior. enabling person who are interviewed have a new understanding and action tendency between the current situation and recent goals. and improved relationships by enabling both parties to feel more positive about themselves and about each other. enabling individual a new cognitive change, promoting self-development, improving organizational performance, eliciting positive emotions, fostering bonding, building psychological safety for sharing information and creating internal transformations of each other.Although FFI is currently mainly used in human resources management in enterprises, but because of its advantage of promoting individual positive emotions, recognizing advantage, exploring actively behavior, and promoting their self development. and the interview technique is simple and easy, easy to master and let the interviewer feel no pressure. Therefore, FFI is also suitable for the goal of academic management of middle school students. The current study used FFI technology as a means of interview, explore its effects to the students’ positive emotion, learning self determined motivation and self-efficacy.this study combined with FFI protocol and the characteristics of the junior school students to develop the FFI interview outline. 42 students in a middle school in Lanzhou city were selected as the testers, There are 22 students for the experiment, and the other 20 for the control group. FFI interview intervention for experimental group. The two groups both have the pre-test about the positive emotion,self-efficacy and self determined motivation test. In the experimental group were measured immediately after the interview. After two weeks,experimental group and control group were tracking test, In order to verify the effect of the intervention. And to explore the intervention of FFI to the junior high school students’ influence on self determined motivation, self-efficacy sense and positive emotion. The results of the study show:(1) the students in the experimental group were significantly en-hance positive emotion.(2) self determined motivation significantly enhanced in the experimental group.(3)self-efficacy significantly enhanced in the experimental group. These results indicate that, FFI plays an important role in improving the positive emotion, self determined motivation and self-efficacy of junior high school students, and have important significance to the academic achievement of the students and the improvement of the school management..
