Je Kelsang’s Poem And Literature Thoughts

Je Kelsang is a famous poet who not only have studied Tibetan traditional and modern culture deeply, but have studied the important works of foreign countries. It is difficult to study his poetry. The people who have cared and thought about Tibetan culture and literature know that his poetry lies in special important position in the field of Tibetan literature. In recently years, some people speak highly of his poetry and translate his poetries into other languages. I get some materials from above mentioned and I am interested about his poetry. So I decided to write a paper about his poetry and literary thoughts.I divided this paper into four parts. Part 1 I will give you a short introduction of results on poetry in Tibetan literature field(1977--today) with topics,time and theme in a table.Part 2 analyze Je Kelsang’s hopes for finding Tibetan ancient history and ancestry,the expectations for the road of future,and the expectations for the correct ways of finding. Part 3 analyze the characteristics of poetic language and rhetoric with examples. Part 4 analyze the characteristics of his poetic topics with some example poems to tell the readers that his poetries are lyric and symbolic.In a word, I write this text under tutor’s help and interview the writer,also read a lots of books and materials.The reason why I choose this topic is that I want to write something nobody write about.
