How to reduce the prejudice and discrimination between different groups has always been a hot topic on Psychology and other subjects. The most effective intervention strategies between different groups is direct contract. Imagined contact as the latest development of contact theory, in practice it can not only effectively reduce the prejudice between different groups, but also can avoid and reduce other factors limitation such as the opportunity of contact.In this study, college students as the subjects, the AIDS group as the implict attitude object, through two experimental research to explore the effects of positive imagined Contact and object contact on implicit prejudice to AIDS group.Experiment 1,45 college students as subjects, using between subjects design to research the effect of imagined contact type and trait anxious level on implicit prejudice to AIDS group. Imagined contact using imagination contact materials, trait anxiety level measured by Spielberg trait anxiety scale.Study showed that the imagined contact type has significant main effect(p<0.05).Study showed that compared to the control group, the positive imagined contact group of participants to the AIDS of implicit bias is decreased obviously. Low trait anxiety level of college students under the positive imagine contact of AIDS community implicit bias is lower than high trait anxiety anxiety level of college students.Experiment 2, 47 college students as subjects, using between subjects design to research the effect of imagined contact object type and trait anxious on implicit prejudice to AIDS group. Imagined contact using imagination contact materials, trait anxiety level measured by spielberg trait anxiety scale.Study showed that Imagined objects have significant main effect(p<0.05), the interaction of the contact object * trait anxiety level significantly(p<0.05). Results showed that compared to the group with adult of imagined contact, the group with children as imagine contact implicit bias is decreased obviously; Low trait anxiety level of college students under the condition of the imagined children as contact showed the minimum implicit prejudice of AIDS group.These findings suggest that imagined contact between groups is important. Itcan be used as an efficient way to eliminate the previous contact with the negative effects of bad aspects, improve relations between different groups and promote the harmonious of society.
