From 1980 s to 2000 s, there existed lots of new Russian artist, which consisted a new big wave in Russian art history. Nikolay Fechin, being one of them in this wave, was a famous artist who was unfortunately forgotten by the main traditional Russia art. His paintings were focused on Russian traditional rural places where the artist lived induring his childhood. His art style was strongly influenced by his personal living experience and the environment he lived in his daily life. His landscape paintings represented people’s labour work on farms and his figure painting are so vivid that it seemed to grasp people’s inner soul. He led a hard life when alive, but people should never ignore his contribution to the modern art history. How to have a individually-outstanding style of art when we are living in a modern normal world is a hard question to answer but also a dream that every artist want to know.Through the study of growth experience of N.fenchin, this paper elaborates the reasos for the formation of his artistic characteristics. This paper argues that daily experience plays important influence through one’s long life history. Childhood, aca demic achievements and family backgrounds of N.fenchin potentially affected his creativa style and art structure in the future. Based on the Chinese traditional philosophy, specially from the theoretical relationship between “ doctrine ” and“weapons”as well as “art”and “skill”this article analyzed N.fenchin‘s artistic characterics in detail and carried out a research on its influence on society. This study focuses on how Fechin’s personal life influenced his unique art style by using a traditional Chinese philosophy theory. What’s more, the author argues that traditional discipline segregate Chinese and Western art theories which is wrong. This study provides a good example to analyze western painting and artist by using a traditional Chinese theory.
