This paper intend to research the elements in the rise and fall of Rome,with the homological theory of biology.For the plenty of the homological elements,the paper just do the study of the present elements in Roman History and The Histories,such as power struggle,amy’s desire of benefits with sword, the military professional construction and provinces which brought by foreign wars, which three summarized with the Roman History and the The Histories.To get the personal verdict by analyzed these questions with the homological views,The main part of this paper discussed about the homological elements’ mainfestation of the Roman History and the The Histories, also discussed their roles and other issues in the rise and fall of Rome, which is built by four.The first part analyzed the manifestations of main homological elements,count it as three,and construct a simple rise-fall system model of Rome with the elements.The second part used the components and contention of the struggle of power as the homological element study target, described the evolution of the system, which made up of power’s abuse and anti-abuse from kings’ reign to early empire.Started with the progress of anti-abuse of power, discussed the continuity and evolution of power struggles stepped by the discussion of the power struggle pattern’s roles as homological element.The third part do the homological element study with the goal of roman force which claimed benefit with violance, compared the manifestation and effect of the roman force in conquest outside and component inside from the egal Period to the early empire.Started with their action of claiming benefit with violance and professionalization for conquest which got to involved in the polictical struggle, discussed the roles of roman force which in the the rise and fall of Rome as homological elements.The fourth part discussed with the military professional construction and provinces which brought by foreign wars, elaborated the process,the result and effects of the military professional construction,and the goals,the function in offense and defend,the roles in civil wars of roman provinces.Discussed the status of professional military and provinces as homological elements.Conclusion: By the comparative study of homological elements in these books, not only did the exploration of the two historical sources, but also explored the homological elements inside, provide some references to scan the history of these two periods.In the meantime, I myself reckon it‘s workable to do the research of the the rise and fall of Rome with the method.
