The“ Work Poetry Is Not My All” —Commenting On The Pluralism Of Zheng Xiaoqiong Poetry Theme

Zheng Xiaoqiong is relatively excellent in creating the “first floor poetry”. with her own experience in working, she made her poems well known to others. As a result, she is labeled “ worker poet”. This paper not only discusses realistic meaning and ethics in the labour poems by Zheng Xiaoqiong but also discusses from the aspects of space, time, women love and spiritual beliefs to avoid ignoring the one-sidedness of individual character brought by only talking about the labour poems in critical esteem. In this way, this paper can be more comprehensive in understanding Zheng Xiaoqiong’s poetry creation of various kinds of theme.This paper is composed of the following parts:The first part is introduction, which mainly discusses the research status of the poems by Zheng Xiaoqiong and the purpose of this paper.The second part is the first chapter, this chapter mainly shows the change process of Zheng Xiaoqiong’s poetic themes and explains how Zheng Xiaoqiong’s poems come into being. This paper also discusses how to reject “tagged” among poets and the process of diversification in poetry theme.The third part ranges from second chapter to the fifth chapter. This part is the body of the paper. The space, time, women love and spiritual exit are respectively discussed in this part. First this part introduces Zheng Xiaoqiong’s poems which regards space as the theme, especially the labour poems. Then this part shows how Zheng Xiaoqiong combines left-wing poetry with modern poetry to form his new poetry system. Thirdly this part continues to introduce Zheng Xiaoqiong’s other important theme poems besides the labour theme poems. These important theme poems can be classified as follows: on poems with time as theme, this part discusses how Zheng Xiaoqiong collides individual time with history time to creat a new miniature of time; on poems with women love as theme, this part reflects the Zheng Xiaoqiong’s special opinions on love and marriage for people at the bottom; on poems with spiritual beliefs as theme, this part analyzes how Zheng Xiaoqiong sticks to the spirit of hope and love under the bitter life.
