The Study On Ryukyu Poet Lin Shigong’s Poetry In The Late Qing Dynansty

Lin Shigong was the last official student of Ryukyu, he received a good education of Chinese Literature, and he created a large number of Chinese Poetry, which were preserved in the poetry collection "the Class Works of Ryukyu" and "the Poetry of Ryukyu". From the poems, we can see Lin Shigong’s devotion and admiration for Chinese culture, and the influence of Chinese culture on him. Lin Shigong’s poetry were rich in content, and skillful in the creation techniques, and those poems were indelible pearl in the Chinese Literature of Ryukyu. On the basis of previous studies, i attempt to make a comprehensive study of his poetry, form the following aspects:the process of creation, the main content, the main creation technique, the main reason for his literary achievements, and so on. The second part, mainly discussions on the Characteristics of allusion of hie poems. from two aspects:the reference of words and stories. The third part, mainly census on the main image of Chinese classical poetry, and discusses on the main characteristics of the use of image. The fourth part, mainly analyzes the narrative and lyrical methods of his poems. The fifth part analyzes the tendency to studying Tang Dynasty.The fifth chapter mainly analyses the reason for the achievement of Lin Shigong’s poety, form the following aspects:the tributary system, the acceptance of Chinese education, the guidance of his teacher, and so on.
