Qiliang is an important age in the development of Chinese Buddhism.The help and support from ruling class and the active contacts of noble families with monks have all done greatly for creating the conditions for the development of Buddhism. Monks participated in politics actively by the SengGuan system and made friends with the scholars.The relationship between monks and scholars became more closely. The communicating,such as the translation of scriptures,singing,Changhe(one person writing a poem to which one or more other people reply, usu. using the same rhyme sequence) and debating, promoted the permeating of Buddhist ideology into Chinese traditional culture and affected the scholars’literature creation. For example, lots of metaphors was used in the translation of Buddhist scriptures, which promoted the development of literature creations skills of the scholars. Buddhist logic theory also promoted the development of the argumentative creation. However, the creation of the monks also tended to be more secularization among their sing with scholars. The temple inscription creation obtained unprecedented development in Qiliang period, which had been inseparable from the association between the monks and scholars. The literature’s creation in Qiliang Age has been branded with the shadow of Buddhism’s development.
