Under the influence of religious beliefs, cultural patterns, different ethnic groups in the long-term development gradually formed a distinctive funeral custom, and the custom through the special funeral, specific ritual factor to be reflected. These cultural factors through the selection of people and history, eventually formed a unique cultural psychology of various nationalitiesThis paper takes multiethnic village Avi-Tan as a survey point, by the Han nationality and the Muslim funeral customs as the research object. Using field survey method, literature method, combined with anthropology through the ceremony, family group boundary theory, the theory of the social function and cultural blending and acculturation theory, from the Han, Kazak, Uygur and Hui nationality funeral ceremony, funeral customs process characteristics, the funeral ceremony and funeral customs, the social function of the cultural implication of aspects by analysis, aims to explore how the typical multi-ethnic area of " Xinjiang style " that similar to avi-Tan village live in harmony, so as to provide some reference in order to solve the ethnic problems in Xinjiang autonomous region.The paper is divided into four parts: the first chapter mainly describes the detail funeral ceremony of Han, Kazak, Uygur and the Hui nationality one by one in accordance with the funeral custom, funeral and sacrifice, in order to make the readers have a direct view and vivid understanding to those funeral customs; the second chapter from the professional angles of funeral independence, funeral culture communion and acculturation, funeral services to describe the funeral characteristics of various nationalities; the third chapter introduces the funeral custom in the emotional comfort, education, cultural heritage and social integration function; the fourth chapter from the view of life and death, Feng Shui concept and the ecological concept three aspects to analysis the funeral culture, so as to provide reference for the future reform of existing funeral habits and interment customs, in order to achieve the harmonious and healthy development of the funeral industry.
