Enrique Granados(1867-1916) is one of the most representative figures of Spanish folk music during the late nineteenth and earlytwentieth Century, and his representative piano suite "Goyescas", which is full of very thick Spanish music style, is a fusion of folk material with Spanish folk songs, dancing rhythm and traditional musical instruments. This paper will take his "Goyescas" as the research subject, specifically analyzing the application and method of Spanish music elements.This paper is divided into three parts: 1, an overview of Granados and "Goyescas"; 2, the Spanish national music elements in "Goyescas"; 3, concrete analysis of Spanish music elements in "Goyescas". Combined with the examples, we can better understand the works of Spanish music elements through the analysis of its materials of unique melody, rhythm and Spanish instrument. It will give some meaningful references to show the essence of the Spanish music style during the actual playing. |
