Musical Analysis And Interpretation Of Three "Spanish Dances" By Granados

Folk music emerged in the middle and late 19th century,and many composers preferred to use traditional folk songs or dance rhythms as their source material.The composer Granados used "cante,dance baile,guitar music toque" from Flamenco,a Spanish performing art.Spanish dance music was composed between 1988 and 1990.There are 12 pieces in total.It is an early piano work of Granados and one of the important representative works of Granados' piano music.Each dance song has a different style depending on the material,rhythm and melody used.This paper is divided into three chapters,the first chapter is the introduction,the second chapter is the introduction of Granados' life and music creation and style overview.The third chapter for the key chapter of the article,the author in the graduation solo concert playing three"Spanish dance" as the research object,from the melody of folk songs,dance music characteristic and played the guitar and voice quality on the imitation of the Spanish dance music analysis and play,and delve into melody,tonality,speed,rhythm,dynamics,expression,music style and playing techniques,etc.;The conclusion is the conclusion of the study.I hope I can have a deeper understanding of Spanish music through this study and have a further learning and comprehension in performance interpretation.
