| The essay is the visual thinking study on surface design of college English teaching software. With the development of computer and network technology, modern education system and education mode change a lot; teaching software is frequently used in modern education. But teaching software developers mainly focus on collecting, selecting, and completing process of knowledge points, ignoring the interface design of software and the ignoring the vital role of visual elements in the delivery of teaching information. The essay begins from the perspective of visual thinking and information visualization; adopts investigation analysis method, literature analysis method, comparison analysis method, and case analysis method to analyze and prove; makes a deep research on relevant concepts and influence factors in the interface design of college English; makes programmable research on the visual elements of interface design in college English software from this perspective. The essay includes 6 chapters, which can be summarized as 2 theme parts: chapter 1-3 are the first theme part, which begins from the perspective of theory to study and analyze the meaning and method of topic study; understands the current situation of study; defines and differs the relevant concepts; finally studies the basic theories of visual design.
