Exploration On Marx’s Theory Of World History

In recent years, with the rapid expansion of globalization in the field of economics, politics, and culture, etc., the world gradually becomes a global village,and then many chances and challenges caused by such situation increasingly attract the educational circle’s wide attention; the scholars start to continuously expand the scope and depth of research on globalization for the purpose of solving the problems in a better way. As the research is continuously deepened, Marx’s theory of world history gradually steps into people’s vision and gets more and more attention, which is owing to its rich connotation and advanced foreseeability. Marx’s theory of world history is the theory with communism property, and it is gradually formed on the basis of absorption and criticizing on predecessors’ thoughts of world history. While we understand Marx’s theory of world history, we shall also pay attention to understanding of historical background under which Marx lives. China is just under the key period of socialist modernization; through understanding of Marx’s theory of world history, we can hold a more objective attitude on the influences caused by globalization in modernization construction, and also combine with China’s actual situation to seek for a road suitable for China’s development in the development process of world history.The main part of the paper consists of three parts:The first part, “Formation condition and process of Marx’s theory of world history”. This part explains the main content of Marx’s theory of world history mainly from perspective of concept of world history, power and process for transition from history to world history, and rules and trend for transition from history to world history.The third part,“Historical position and contemporary value of Marx’s theory of world history”. This part mainly discusses the historical position of Marx’s theory of world history in world history development and its development significance for Marxism of contemporary China, and also explains practical guidance function of Marx’s theory of world history in promoting the socialism with Chinesecharacteristics.
