| 16 personality factor theory is one of the world’s recognized and classical theory of personality traits, the 16 PF series tests which was established on the basis of it are widely used throughout the world. The 15FQ+ which was developed by British PSYTECH company in 2000 is by far the latest test of 16 PF series.It redefined the intelligent in theory as intellectance for its inaccurate measurement in tests, and adopted many latest standardized technologies to develop it, so the 15FQ+ has good reliability and validity index through verification.But domestic currently used most of the Chinese version of 16 PF tests, is revised in 1988 by Zhu Beili in the east China normal university.It has used for 30 years, and result in the norm of measurement and the validity of test has fallen.Therefore, this research attempts to develop the latest Chinese version of the series tests on the basis of 16 personality factors theory.In the research, The 15FQ+ Chinese version which was revised by Dr. Gao Hongjie in our university was futher localized into Chinese environment.But some items can’t still adapt native culture by localization,so some new items were developed in standarded procedure for replacing these items,and finally form the Cattell personality factor questionnaire-Chinese intellectance version, CPF-CI as abbreviation.During the research, the reliability and validity of the questionnaire were proved by 3445 effective samples, and subsequently the questionnaire was used preliminary. The main research results are as follows:1.The localization revision of questionnaire was completed by the way of collective discussion and expert assessment.It minor repaired 50 items of The First 15FQ+ Chinese Version,accounted for 25%; medium repaired 69 items, accounted for 34.5%; heavy repaired 58 items, accounted for 29%; newly developed 12 items for self-discipline dimension, accounted for 6%; 11 items of original Chinese version was maintained, accounted for 6%.The total revision rate of 94.5% in The First Chinese Version ensure the content validity of CPF-CI.2.CPF-CI overall Cronbach’s alpha coefficient is 0.789, the Cronbach’s alpha coefficient of each dimension are 0.468 ~ 0.792, on average 0.66. Overall Guttman split coefficient is 0.615, Guttman split coefficient of each dimension are 0.375 ~ 0.781, on average 0.62. the correlation coefficients for eight months retest are 0.431 ~ 0.789, on average 0.63.3.In the document research which is about revising the Chinese versions of 16 personality traits series tests in the past, the report of carrying on 16 traits factor analysis directly on overall personality testing items aren’t found,only could found the report of carrying on second order factor analysis on 16 personality traits. So this research had carried on the 16 traits factor analysis on overall personality testing items, found the experience of vocation and age are the two variables which mostly influence the results of factor analysis,and the best result of factor analysis are obtained on the student sapmle.Results showed that among 192 personality testing items there are 109 items which of the maximum load are on itself dimensions, there are 28 items which of the secondary load are on itself dimensions, illustrating the questionnaire has possessing basic framework of 16 personality traits.In the second-order factor analysis on the 16 traits, five principal components were extracted,and the situation that the maximum load of 16 traits are on the principal component was coincident with 15FQ+ in a extent of 94.7%.4. the correlations between CPF-CI and NEO-PI-R, 16 PF, MBTI-G, MMPI-2, EPQ, English version of 15FQ+ and the joint type of raven’s test were analyzed,these relevant results provides criterion validity evidences for the questionnaire.5.The comparisons between various variables were carried on through measured data, the result showed that between the mental patients and normal people, among the different gender, age, education degree, marital status, professional field, occupation of normal population, between military and civilians, among different gender, classes, length of military service of military, between the pilot, firefighter, police, music professional students and normal population, there are significant differences in each personality dimensions. The results proved that the questionnaire can distinguish these variables of populations, and provided evidences for empirical validity of questionnaire.6.The CPF-CI are applied to <the military academy selecting students vocational adaptability test 2015> for a preliminary application, and the preliminary measuring norm of the military academy selecting students was established. |
