The Influence Of Psychological Chastity To The Gender Interactions Between College Students

According to physiological chastity, modern society puts forward the concept of psychological chastity. The existence of psychological chastity can be found from the etymology, history, human essence, people’s explanation and real needs.Through the college students’ chastity survey, it is found that the existence of psychological chastity has both positive effects and negative effects on college students’ gender interactions. It can develop new models and inner world to stabilize gender interaction. But, at the same time, psychological chastity can lead to slide into the thought of love first and ignoring the responsibility and obligation; look down on physiological chastity to cause health problems and cross the boundaries of morality and law. To avoid negative effects, it must guide students to establish healthy concept of chastity. Healthy chastity view is based on the equality between the sexes,attaches great importance to love, belongs to the responsibility and combines physiological chastity with psychological chastity. Guiding students to set up the healthy concept of chastity, we can do from four aspects: strengthen the sex education of college students; establish sex ethics; enhance college students’ sense of marriage responsibility and create a good sex culture atmosphere.
