With the rapid development of science and technology, mobile learning has also been showing its advantages in people busy life:convenient,no constraints of time and place. More and more people use the mobile devices such as smart phones or tablet computers to work, study and even for entertainment.As the prosperity of world tourism, tourists from many countries are all interest in China’s scenic spots. But the question is that they can’t speak Chinese during the trip. So travel Chinese as a special-purpose Chinese emerged.From the travel Chinese learner perspective, this thesis summed up and sorted the tourism phrases, conversation and video according to tourism topic and communication links,combined with the theory of mobile learning, writer try to design a travel Chinese learning App which fits the actual language needs of the foreign tourists.The framework of the whole thesis:Firstly, to summarize the status of related abroad research, learn about other aspects which related to this study, to lay a solid theoretical foundation for the research.Secondly, to classify and filter the travel Chinese App in the App Store, and then inspect the content arrangements and the learning result of some related App by follow the learning theory,then analyze their advantages and shortages.Thirdly, to process the corpus of travel Chinese and work out the learning content of this software.Finally, to establish the principles for this research,and to design a travel Chinese App that can used on mobile devices.This study was designed to combine travel Chinese with mobile learning, to meet the needs of learners, and to provide a reference for the future design of a foreign language learning software.
