The R.SPM Test which is a non- verbal test about intelligence is too abstract for pre-school children. So to develop a Graphics Reasoning Test which is base on the A, B parts of R.SPM Test for 5-6 years old children is very necessary. The whole study includes that restudy the intelligence theory, the pre-school children’s ability of graphics reasoning, the R.SPM Test and so on; analyse the R.SPM Test by the technique of cognitive diagnostic; use the photoshop technology to develop a initial Graphics Reasoning Test for pre-school children; select 30 children who is between the age of 5 and 6, so to do the test; analyse the result of the test by the methods of item analysis, reliability test, validity test, which including the item difficulty, item discrimination, internal consistency, split-half method, congruent validity, empirical validity and so on. The results showed that, the reliability and the validity of the Graphics Reasoning Test is well. The split-half method is 0.617 and the construct validity is 0.712.The first draft of the Graphics Reasoning Test includes a total of 17 questions and is divided into A, B parts. Group A contains 5 titles and the main purpose of this group is to test children’s ability of perceptual discrimination and graphics comparison. Group B contains 5 subjects which is about analogical reasoning, the combination of graphics and so on. |
