Experiment And Analysis Of Emotional Music In“Crush”

During a movie, the music in the film is an important component, it becomes the link of those which concludes story of the film structure, narrative development and thought to express, the great music & sound play a vital role in the whole film emotion. Recently, as early as 20 th century, doctors had proposed that such human functions as brain wave, heartbeat, blood pressure, rate of heartbeat can be influenced by music & sound. Meanwhile, that substantiates different styles of music & sound will evoke listeners’ different mental emotions which are either instinct of human or a method of auxiliary emotional music & sound as well. Today, emotional music & sound has entered our life and the significance of its emotion-influencing function, whether in ads or in TV dramas and movies. By Crush, this dissertation introduces various ways of application of emotional music & sound and gives some tentative explorations in order to discuss the expressing effects of emotional music in movies in terms of rhythm, adjusting tones and try-out on instruments without different tones. Thus, i can give a further analysis of some special techniques used in this musical drama. And also through comparison with practical effect of same-style music in classical movies, i hold that it is of high possibility to provide audiences with concerning-subjects by scaring movies, and by music & sound, we can experience the inner fear of audiences so that to attract more people by integration of movie shots and its language. Besides, i also explain introduce the shooting procession of Push as well as some problems met during manufacturing processing and my solutions to them.
