The Study On Military Groups Of Students During The Period Of The Revolution Of 1911

In the period of the Revolution of 1911, a lot of military groups, which were composed of students, came upon the stage, played an important role in overthrowing the rule of the Qing dynasty and maintaining the local order. In this paper, the author studies the military groups of student as research object, hoping it helpful to the study of the Revolution.Military groups of students is rooted in the development of modern education and the growth of the students groups who accepted the new eduation. Affected by the revolutionary ideas, some students organized the early military groups among this process. This is why such groups rapid establishement after the outbreak of the Wuchang uprising.The historical materials of military groups of students are not concentration,in this paper,based on the collection of historical materials,the basic situation of military groups of students were statistically.And the author select some representative groups to carry out a more detailed study,analyzed the regional distribution,age of members and training and equipment.This paper always stuies their actions during this period as well as the social environment. For young students who participating in military groups of students, the Revolution of 1911 is an important practice,they draw nourishment from it,since then continuous efforts for the transformation of China.
