The aria Sposa Son Disprezzata is created by Giorgio Giacomelli, and Vivaldi used it in his opera Bajazet created by himself in 1795. This aria is one of famous opera arias in early stage, and it is not only suitable for soprano but also suitable for mezzo-soprano.In the learning process of singing this aria, the author collected several singing editions, and chose the singing editions of the coloratura soprano Sumi Jo and the coloratura mezzo-soprano Cecilia Bartoli to conduct a comparative study. When interpreting the same aria, in the recreation process with an aesthetic meaning, different singers blended in their personal creating style, and thus they interpreted a different connotation and style. After comparing the singing editions of Sumi Jo and Cecilia Bartoli by using singing speed, singing strength change, improperness tone, singing melody of coloratura parts and other technical analysis methods, the author analyzed and summarized the different interpretation and interpretation difference of the two singers, and the problem how they treated the difference. This provided the reference for the author to performing this aria and made the author have a new thinking.
