In this paper, through studying the development history since the violin has been introduced into China, we deeply recognized that the elementary education of violin still remained many urgent problems to be solved. Furthermore, it is not a individual phenomenon. In recent years, some outstanding violinist and players have emerged in our country. However, the overall level was not as good as Japan and South Korea’s, let alone the developed countries in Europe and America. There still many problems in our elementary education of violin, including teacher, teaching materials, teaching program and management. Due to all these problems, learners are developing toughly to a high level. Therefore, the author proposed that the elementary education of violin must been regulated, such as standardizing training on basic music educator, practicing professional employment admittance, combining individual teaching and unified teaching, planning teaching program according to educator’s age or teaching level, as well as rational and normative guiding on entering higher grade, testing grade and regulating teaching materials. Certainly, our colleges and universities have already had a numerous of high level educators. Consequently, we believe that the talent team would be built well in future, and the elementary education of violin would develop better and better afterwards.
