Study Of The Jiangtun Cemetery

This paper aims to research the 154 tombs in the Jiangtun Cemetery. On the basis of the typology analysis about the structure of tombs and burial potteries, the periodization and cultural factors of these tombs are researched. This paper contains six chapters.Chapter one: the introduction. It introduces the basic situation of the Jiangtun Cemetery, the excavation and research history, and the research status of the tombs of Han Dynasty in Liaotung peninsula.Chapter two: the typology analysis about the shapes of tombs. The tombs of Jiangtun Cemetery divided into two categories, earthen pit tomb and brick-chambered tomb.Chapter three: the typology analysis about the burial potteries. The burial potteries of these tombs divided into four categories, with the typology method of archaeology.Chapter four: the periodization research. The cemetery can be divided into six stages, from the early Western Han Dynasty to the Middle and late Eastern Han Dynasty.Chapter five: the analysis of cultural factors. Different cultural factors from adjacent areas are recognized. It also analysis the constitution and development of cultural factors in different period.Chapter six: the conclusion. In this chapter the main conclusions are summarized, and also the existing inadequacy.
