| Along with the rapid development of urbanization, China’s urban planning hall from appearing to the prosperity of short10 years of rapid development. New means of modern science and technology have been introduced to reveal a space, especially in the Shanghai world expo, the urban planning exhibition hall of science and technology content is higher and higher, and even in some urban planning at the county level library, large-scale three-dimensional cinema and digital multimedia sand is everywhere. The rapid development of the urban planning exhibition hall, also appeared some problems. Embodied in the "thousand pavilion side" rigid design mode, the disconnect between urban and planning exhibition center city to become a "isolated island", unable to show the city spirit connotation,also unable to retain the audience. The city and the audience would be a "passenger" of the pavilion.This study attempts to show from the concept of innovation to solve the above problems, especially on the theme expression and emotion, and argues that the semantic space design concept will be an effective solution. Semantic space is the various design elements to display space to give the meaning of a language without too many viewers are introduced, namely can quickly understand the meaning of design intent, and can be closer in the interaction with the audience. Display space semantic process, is to deepen the connotation of space display design of the urban planning exhibition hall, it is very important. Because urban planning hall need to show the city spirit temperament and development strategy, if lost the connotation of city space, so to express the theme of the exhibition space and emotion will become empty pale, this is urban planning hall into a "isolated island".The significance of this research lies in theoretical exploration and practice on the combination of space semantization and urban planning exhibition hall designing;such integration provide urban planning library’s subject expression and emotional transmission with new methods, with the purpose of promoting display designing. The main research content of the paper is, 1) to discuss design features and development course of urban planning library, and to summarize previous achievements and look ahead; 2) to discusses concept of space semantization, and analyze its application in display designing of urban planning library, as well as the subject expression and emotional transmission under the new display concept; 3) by analyzing the planning library designing scheme of Chongqing, the display form, especially the above two aspects are discussed; 4) based on analysis of the design practice under the space semantization in Taoyuan planning exhibition hall, the space semantization’s significance in subject expression and emotional transmission is discussed.Theoretical research is the solid foundation for practice,while practice inspects the feasibility of theories.Through the study, space semantization focuses on theme expression as well multiple levels of emotional transmission,besides, it highlights the interaction between display space and audiences, and the use of modern display technology; these ideas are obviously seen in Chongqing urban planning exhibition:its theme sticks to the city ’ s features and development strategy, and its emotional expression can be seen from atmosphere, interactive display and significance, which endows the audiences with sense of immersion, engagement and belonging.And Taoyuan planning exhibition hall achieve design goals by theoretical support and reference of the design examples. To be specific, the design set the semantics of “Taoyuan” as its concept, which displays the theme of “city of landscape, free creation in Taoyuan”; through the modern means of science and technology, especially in the lobby and general planning sand table, the space focuses on subject expression and emotional transmission. |
