In the case study on everyday eating practice of Hui-citizens of Qiqihar city, Qingzhen eating habits constructs the eating boundary in Hui-citizens’everyday eating practice. For one thing, the eating boundary presents the fluid condition because of the diversification of individuals’ practices, for another, it is an universal phenomenon in Hui-citizen’s everyday life. The eating boundary indicates the duad- orientation of Hui-citizens’ life style, existing simultaneously pursuing both in religious belief and common customs. Hui-citizens live with Han people, and there is little differences in the language, resident and dresses between Hui-citizens’and their neighbors’. The eating boundary in everyday eating practice becomes the symbol of ethnic identity. The Hui-citizens maintaining the eating boundary denotes their identity for ethnic culture tradition. According to the individual experience, the cognition structure of Hui-citizens will integration the value order of sacred and common custom, that’s just the intrinsic factor of eating boundary moving. In brief, in the case of Hui-citizens of Qiqihar, the eating boundary becomes the ethnic group’s boundary.
