The Brief History Of Qinzhou Sanxian’s Inheritance And Development In Shanxi

In this paper, based on local Chronicles studies of folk music variety, among which Shanxi Qinzhou Sanxian Shu---a kind gradually established by disadvantaged groups is mainly explored and studied, with the purpose of outlining the life of blind artists, their performing environments, their inheritance models, their scriptures and music history concerned before and after the founding of new China. Focused on Musicology study theory, archaeological materials, documentary sources and oral historical materials are combined together, with an intention of providing a full vision of the development of this folk music.This article mainly divides into the introduction, the main body and conclusion. The introduction mainly expounds purpose, meaning and academic frontier dynamic of Qinzhou Sanxian Shu. Main body includes seven chapters:chapter 1, history origin of Shanxi Qinzhou Sanxian Shu, raising challenge against the predecessors’ conclusion, tracing the origin of rap by the blind, when sanxian instrument spread in China (shanxi) and its development in China (shanxi), and history of rap in south and southeast Shanxi, the author will give a refined conclusion of Qinzhou Sanxian Shu.Chapter 2, Qinzhou Sanxian Shu before 1937(back to the Ming Dynasty), based on study of Shanxi’s quyi situation,rap bands by the blind, and special skills, inheritors, inheritance modes of Qinzhou Sanxian Shu, a full disclosure of inheritance and development concerning Qinzhou Sanxian Shu during this phase. Chapter 3, traditional scriptures and musical analysis of Qinzhou Sanxian Shu, which is a "ontology" Interpretation of Qinzhou Sanxian Shu in terms of a traditional rap. Scriptural analysis attachs importance to writing style and language characteristics, and music part attaches great importance to the insight of plate structure. Chapter 4, Qinzhou Sanxian Shu before and after the founding of new China(1937-1966), which focuses on new development of Qinzhou Sanxian Shu, emerging during the New Culture Movement,the anti-japanese war, liberation-war period and early years of the new China. The status of the blind propaganda team of Qinzhou and representative inheritors is mainly discussed. Chapter 5, Qinzhou Sanxian Shu during the "Cultural Revolution" period (1966-1976), impaired by "Destroying the Four Dregs of Society" and "Revolutionary Model Opera", Qinzhou Sanxian Shu was off its track during this period, a brief outline of its evolution is to be presented.
