Among all Chopin’s piano work the preludes belong to typical small opuses that characterized by their short length and monotonous themes. Taking Chopin’s works Op.13 and Op.16 as research subjects and from the perspective of piano-playing skills,this paper analyzes the material,form and style etc of these work.By this study, it can help us to understand various ornate rhythms and view music effects from many new perspectives. The paper is divided into three chapters. The first chapter focuses on Chopin’s preludes and then-music features, which will help us to deepen the understanding of prelude.In the second and the third Chapter, two works are analyzed for finding out their characteristics and difficulties, depending on specific case.And with the above analysis and study,it will be helpful for our playing and teaching skills.
