Exploration Of Longshan Tujia Visual Symbol Image And The Communication Research Of New Media

Tujia brocade is called Xilankapu in Tujia language, and is an original textile craft saved by Tujia People. As the daily necessities closely related to Tujia people, it contains the Tujia ethnic customs and religious beliefs, it developed its simple and primitive art characteristics.Due to the geography, economic and historical reasons, the generation gap of craftsmen and the lose of tradition patterns happened in Tujia brocade. However, the new media is booming at present, it has cross-era advantage as a new kind of culture carrier and means of communication. How to make new media become the new carrier of Tujia Brocade visual symbol image and let it to publicize and promote Tujia brocade is the research purpose of this paper.First of all, based on the design science and communication theory, this paper explores the origin, art characteristics and meaning of images of Tujia Brocade visual symbol image, sums up the visual symbols according to the principle of semiotics,and makes multi-faceted interpretation and conclusion on the changes in different historical periods through practicalinvestigation, literature reference and network search. The connection as well as the communication and development relationship between the visual symbol image and new media are discovered. Second, this paper explores the design application of new media in the visual symbol image and sums up the reference and guidance of the artistic characteristics in interface design, color design and interactive design. At last, it uses theory into real design cases and introduces the visual symbol image into the content arrange, the interface design through redesign, integrate with picture, articles, color, sound effect. It also fully explains the APP layer structure and content feature of the real case PEEP and explores the APP follow-up communication mode.Tradition and modern, craft and technology are not against each other and the natures of the both are overlapped.We should comply with the time development, inject new science and technology in the traditional culture to nurture new vitality,arm the traditional culture gene with the modern new media, and make it exude a unique Chinese characteristics of the emerging art.
