Study On The Application Of Song Brocade Pattern In Visual Image Design Of Song Brocade Cultural Park

Song brocade is a kind of traditional Chinese silk handicraft.It originated in the Spring and Autumn period,was formed in the Song Dynasty,and flourished in the Ming and Qing dynasties.As one of the four famous Chinese silk fabrics,it is not only the wisdom of Chinese traditional silk techniques,but also an outstanding representative of the intangible cultural heritage of mankind.With its unique structure,exquisite skills and elegant and noble artistic charm,Song Brocade is endowed with the "crown of splendid embroidery" in China and enjoys a high reputation at home and abroad.However,in the change of history,Song Brocade and its weaving skills once faced the dilemma of being lost.It was not until the 1990 s that Song Brocade and its unique artistic value and charm really began to gain the attention of the society as the country paid more attention to traditional textile techniques.In 2006,Song Brocade was included in the first batch of national intangible cultural heritage list;Song brocade weaving was included in the Representative list of intangible Cultural Heritage of humanity in 2009.In 2014,a cultural park with the theme of "Song Brocade" was built in Wujiang,Suzhou,striving to promote Chinese Song brocade and its weaving skills to the world.However,with the increasing demand of the public for cultural consumption,the thematic cultural park inheriting Song Brocade faces the current situation of lack and insufficiency of visual image system,which hinders the benign and high-quality development of Song Brocade Cultural Park under the new situation.The Song Brocade Cultural Park,which carries the silk culture,needs to adapt to today’s new form of cultural transmission.It is an effective way to shape the visual image of the Song Brocade Cultural Park with the characteristics of The Times,aesthetics and functions.This paper takes the patterns of Song brocade as the starting point,discusses the origin,development,types and organizational structure of Song brocade,explores the artistic features of patterns from the perspective of brocade,explores the types of themes,visual features,combination forms and the transformation of artistic language,and lays the foundation for the following application practice.Secondly,a field survey was conducted on "Song Brocade Cultural Park" to analyze the current status of its visual image.At the same time,the visual image of similar cultural parks was taken as a case to classify its forms of expression,and the integration of Song brocade patterns in the visual image design of cultural park was explored from the perspectives of graphic symbols,traditional culture and color selection.Summarize the application principles and methods of Song brocade pattern in the visual image design of the cultural park,seek a harmonious and unified fit form,position and construct the visual image of Song Brocade Cultural Park,and carry out relevant application practice,to create a visual image system with the unique beauty of Song brocade pattern and the characteristics of Suzhou regional culture.This visual image system changes the inheritance mode of Song brocade and its patterns,which can only be applied in the fields of clothing and binding,realizes the expansion of traditional Song brocade in content form and application field,explores the connection between traditional silk patterns and modern design,provides the methods and methods for the application research of Song brocade patterns,and also provides reference for the visual image design of the same type of cultural parks.
