This article is about to study Shunji Iwai’s feminism narrative research.If there is any feminism narrative exist in Shunji Iwai’s film? If there do exist feminism narrative in it. What does it mean to Japanese movie? Made what kind of female culture image and aesthetic image? What kind of movie narrative language he use? Does it work? What does it mean to Japanization of feminism and east Asia? What does it mean?Discussing these questions constitute the main contents of this article. In the existing research of Shunji Iwai, this article discussed new questions and received new achievement.There is four chapter of this article. The first chapter is introduction. It’s about to describe the academic research significance and value of this article, and to introduce the overseas and domestic research status, to determine the research tasks goals and thoughts and methods. The content of introduction is preparing the following specific research. In the following three chapter, the author split the main topic into several small topics to discuss. To explain those key words like “feminism” 、 “feminism narrative”、“film narrative” and so on. According to the explanation, it can defined a effectively academic context, to let the phenomenal framework, defined the boundary of the topic of thesis from phenomenon to theory. Base on the explanation of chapter two,to discussing about Shunji Iwai’s film narrative’s feminism feature and the cultural attribute. To consider there do exist feminism narrative phenomenal in Shunji Iwai’s film, his film’s feminism narrative affected by multi-culture’s influence, like post colonial culture, global discourse, Japanese traditional culture and regional culture in east Asia and so on. The most important culture property is oriental culture’s oriental property. This culture quality defined Shunji Iwai film’s feminism is not pure western feminism, he’s film is care about oriental female’s situation and fate. The chapter three is discussing the female’s body image writing from small topics like clothing and Tatoo.To discussing Shunji Iwai’s writing about woman’s body image is to describing the body image writing’s phenomenal, to revealing the value of feminism in it, to discussing the meaning of the female’s body image writing’s culture property and as the art’simage writing symbol. And also based on it, to discussed woman image’s aesthetic temperament and style and the cultural connotation about woman’s beauty in those films. The chapter four is to discussing Shunji Iwai’s film ’s feminism narrative. Mainly is to discussing about the film language element in feminism narrative, to see how the director made feminism into a movie, to see what’s the special movie narrative ways he used in those movie. Besides, in this chapter, the author also discussed about Shunji Iwai’s film’s narrative theory issues, to clear how Shunji Iwai to combine and transfer feminism and film narrative.
