In the process of urbanization and gradually entered the aging society in our country, "healthy life" become a kind of urgent needs of the elderly, the elderly physical exercise motivation continuously strengthened. Square dance as a return to life and the mass forms, loved by the people, especially older women. This emerging sports in the development at the same time also brought a lot of different problems. This paper, by using the literature material law, questionnaire survey method, interview method and so on research methods to the development of Hunan Liu-yang square dance as the research object, to seek the current square dance development present situation, main problems, on the basis of building the new model in the promotion of Liu-yang square dance.Liu-yang square dancing in the crowd are mainly composed of 50-60, female comrade, they many for enterprises and workers, retired old man, farming, do business, no fixed occupation. Lead dancers often have a certain professional basis, they have been engaged in sports or dance. Venue, teachers’ problems become the main factors affecting the development of Liu-yang square dance.Liu-yang square dance promotion from the organization subject mainly lead dancer, they lack the necessary organization, its promotion way mainly concentrated in the interpersonal promotion, information dissemination means less use now in the promotion of square dance, from the audience, mainly concentrated in older women on narrow and lack of perfect publicity mechanism.This study based on the theory of integrated management, communication, said: Liu-yang square dance promotion should be based on the improved under the "5 w" mode, namely, to establish comprehensive organization, to develop the diversified promotion way, radiation national audience, promoting to build a full range of content and form is effective to promote feedback, eliminate the influence of irrational factors.
