A Historical Review On New Democratic Modernization Of Chinese Communist Party

New democratic modernization thought is the early exploration of Chinese communist party for China’s socialist modernization. It is not only made the Chinese nation see the dawn of independent, but also relight the hope of modernization, opening up a new way for the development of China’s modernization. However, in the field of early modernization research, scholars pay less attention on this topic.Therefore, this paper is based on the research results and related historical facts, from the world historical view and the perspective of modernization to introduce and analyze the formation、connotation、development、evolvement and enlightenment of the new democratic modernization thought of Chinese communist party, and form the depth theoretical thinking on this issue.The first part of the paper mainly discussed the formation of the necessity of the communist party of China from the angle of theory origin and realistic basis, points out that the theory of new democratic modernization is not only the need of Marx’s theory to innovate, but also necessary for China’s revolutionary practice. The second part systematically expounded the concept of modernization which as a kind of trend of The times and the specific meaning of the new democratic modernization, attaching importance to the China’s economic modernization, the modernization of politics and culture modernization, and discussing the development of modernization in China. The new-democratic society is a special stage and will transit to the socialist direction, meanwhile clarify the reason why the modernization of capitalism is not suitable for China. The third part made the objective evaluation and profound theoretical thinking for the Chinese communist party of new democratic modernization ideas. New democratic modernization ideas promoted the historical process of modernization in modern China, enriched and developed the marxist modernization thought and had an important impact on today’s construction of socialist modernization with Chinese characteristics. However, as after the founding of the recovery of national economy and the change of social environment, coupled with the limitations of the idea itself, led to the communist party of China not only give up the new democratic modernization ideas too early, but also have a great understanding deviation of the transition period, and failed to properly handle the relationship between revolution and modernization.This shows, modernization construction must be under the leadership of the communist party of China, proceeding from China’s national conditions, insisting on the thinking line of seeking truth from facts and walking China’s own modernization road. Meanwhile, fully realize modernization long-term and arduous to ensure the sustainable, healthy and orderly development of the socialist modernization construction in the new period.
