| This documentary concerns on a special group, the blind people. During the narratives of daily life from several students who graduated from the School for the Blind in Shenyang in 1969, it reflected sorts of their situations. Bajiazi Community is situated in West Dongling Road Dadong District of Shenyang City. Most of the blind people were arranged to live here till now since 1970s. Nowadays Bajiazi Community as a shantytown is facing lots of problems, such as removal. The average age of the blind people living here is over 60. Aging as well as their disabled body makes life tougher. The main occupation they live on is massage which becomes their unchanged destiny. The disability of eyesight deprived their dreams. I just want to show the unseen part of their lives throughout a natural recording. |
